Apparently being on the show Glee has more than just acting benefits, because Matthew Morrison got a record deal and good rates for Ontario car insurance. When you stop and think about the fact that he has a record deal it’s kind of weird, because he’s famous for singing cover songs. In terms of actual artistry, you would think that a record label would want sign a person that’s an actual artist. Apparently the record label that signed him is trying to cash in on his Glee fame to sell records.

Whether of not this will work is up to debate. Many actors and actresses have started singing careers and failed. But actors who are on music based shows sometimes have the ability to sell records. If all of the fans that love him on Glee buy his record, he will have a multi-platinum album. On the TV show he’s a good singer, so if he can sing original songs as good as he sings cover sings, he should be able to make a good sounding album.

I have no idea how the new Matthew Morrison album is going to sound, but a have a very good idea of how the new, The Cars album is going to sound. It’s been over two decades since they’ve made an album, and for the most part their sound hasn’t changed. This fact is very interesting because music has changed a lot in the time that they’ve been gone.

The new music listeners may not be very enthusiastic about The Cars classic sound, but I’m sure their old fans will love the fact that their new album sounds similar to their old albums. And their old fans will be even more excited to find out that their going to be going on tour again. Without a doubt, I think their new album will be a big success.
